‘Fan culture’ is a kind of culture which is attached
to the popular culture. Fans are the product of the new mass media. They
will have a community based on common interests on the Internet and use this to
share what they loved to makes some platform for the production of fans.
Although Jenkins (1992, 287) ‘The advent of interactive
media highlights what has
been true all along: that all audiences are active, although perhaps not in the
progressive sense the term has come to imply.’
People will discuss the drama in the internet, they
can also affect the Ending. For example, a Korean TV drama-‘My Love from the
Star’. The drama haven’t finish the shooting yet and published already. The
direct said they may decide the ending by the audience’s feedback. In the end
of that drama, although it’s an opening ending, the audiences also think that
is better than the sad ending. In addition, the ‘fried chicken’ and ‘beer’ in
the drama become a symbol of fashion life. Fans are snapping up with the
characters in the same style of clothing, including the same sleeping bag, the
beauty products also became popular culture. And Hong Kong also have many Korean
restaurants after the drama.
But in Hong Kong drama such as TVB, they may not
really care about the ‘fans’ feedback about the drama. But they will product
the same types of some famous TV dramas to attach the audiences.
Besides, there are many website that can watch TV
dramas. Korean TV drama are very popular. So there are many ‘K-drama fans’ will
became K-drama subtitles translator to making Chinese subtitles for the TV
dramas and share in some website or forum which is created by themselves. For
example, http://maplestage.com/ A little bit same as TWop, is
a website that provided detailed recaps of select television dramas, situation
comedies and reality TV shows and variety.
The visitors can watch TV via that website and leave comment under the video, so there are many responds as well.

Hardt and Negri also said network cooperation creates
a new intellectual, emotional, and social network of connections " (2004:
336)
However, the media with fans and TV are challenged the
neoliberal prerequisites for capitalist commercial purposes and brings a new
media platform.
